MEET RYAN

Ryan grew up in Panama City, Florida, and he has always had a desire to run his own business. His dad owned and operated a towing service since 1974, and Ryan grew up going on wrecker calls with his dad. Almost all of his memories of his dad are of him in a tow truck. Ryan learned the value of hard work and tenacity from his father.

Ryan’s passion for football led him to play as a place kicker in college for Carson-Newman in Tennessee. While at Carson-Newman, Ryan received his bachelor’s degree and went through the Army ROTC program. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant upon graduation.

Ryan then spent four years on active duty and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as as transportation officer. Under his leadership, Ryan’s unit hauled tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and Marine Amphibious Assault Vehicles all over the battlefield. The last seven years he has been helping small to medium sized businesses grow through advertising and marketing efforts.

Ryan spent the past five years as the primary marketing manager for his dad’s family run towing business. During those five years, this business had an unprecedented amount of sustained growth. MEET OUR TEAM

Ryan Fleming

Owner

Ryan’s working career started in 2000 after graduating from college. Ryan gained valuable leadership experience while serving in the US Army on active duty from 2000-2004 as a logistics and transportation officer. He deployed and led soldiers by convoy during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, delivering tanks, Marine Amphibious Assault Vehicles and Bradley Fighting Vehicles across the battlefield. You could say Ryan served in a “towing capacity” during his Army career. Since departing active duty service, Ryan has worked for several fortune 100 companies in both selling and management capacities. He loves helping towing companies increase their bottom line profitability. It has become his passion and obsession! Ryan sees his role as more of a towing business consultant than owner of a digital marketing company. When not obsessed with work and helping his towing clients, he can be found hanging out with his wife and three children. Ryan loves coaching soccer, spending time cooking on his barbeque smoker, and watching football.

Jonathan Hanna

Chief Creative Director

Jonathan has been a freelance graphic designer for years, but now he’s a full-time member of Grow Your Tow. His work experience ranges from small business, non-profit, and religious organization projects all the way to public sector government work and community branding. This work includes a variety of print and digital media as well as countless branding and even full-scale marketing campaigns, which means he’s fully equipped to provide you with the logo you love, the website you need, and any additional design services you may require. He was trained at Winthrop University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking; however, maybe the most interesting thing about Jonathan is the fact that he’s probably the only graphic designer you’ll meet who also has his commercial driver’s license, so he knows a little bit about driving heavy trucks down the highway just like you.
